"MAY IT BE DONE TO ME ACCORDING TO YOUR WORD"

The official hymn of the 34th World Youth Day 2019 - inspired by characteristic Panamanian rhythms and the official slogan chosen by the Holy Father "Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord, let it be done to me according to your word" (Lk 1:38) - was presented before thousands of youth and adults - laity and clergy members - who attended the ATLAPA Convention Center for the Pan y Vino (Bread and Wine) dinner, the main fundraising event of the San José Major Seminary.

This worship song, which will be sung and listened in the five continents of the world, was written and composed by Abdiel Jiménez, a catechist and psalmist from the Cristo Resucitado parish in San Miguelito, author of several liturgical pieces, member of various choirs and graduate from the School of Religious Sciences of the Universidad Católica Santa Maria La Antigua.

HOW IT WAS MADE?

Anibal Muñoz

Arranger and Producer

“It has been the most important musical experience of my life, for the glory of God and honor of our Lady of Antigua.
Everything was flowing by the Grace of the Holy Spirit: The arrangement, instrumentation, voice selection, and interpretation; Guest musicians and the process of mixing and mastering with the support of the production team made this piece more and more special. Certainly, it has been the most important musical experience of my life, for the glory of God and honor of our Mother, Saint Mary the Ancient.
